Will the Coyoti awards consider audio works of fiction?
Based on the rules, this is a gray area, meaning the Awards Chair would decide if a work was eligible. I think that audio works of fiction should be eligible as long as they wouldn’t become a substantially different work if they were published as text. So, if it’s basically a story being read out loud — probably yes. However, if it’s a dramatization with lots of sound effects and different voices — possibly no.
